Living Comfortable vs Living Convenient

Think about, how many of us, who are in debt and struggle with bills all chose convenience over living more financially comfortable. I know its a lot of us. You would think, we would all make homecooked meals instead of eating fast food to save money. Fast food is expensive. I know a lot of us moms and dads stay at home now, because of the cost of daycare, well why dont we just work opposite shifts as our significant others. I know in some cases like mine its not that simple, with unpredictible times of when they could get off. Why dont more people coupon and shop sales to save? Or why dont more people cloth diaper instead of using disposables, you spend between $2000 and $5000 diapering a baby for the whole time their in disposables, when you could spend $1000 or less to cloth diaper a child, and this is per child. Why dont more women breastfeed, instead buying that expensive baby formula, or make their own babyfood. People like what is convenient. Convenient isnt whats always best, in fact most of the time its not. In todays world we are really fast paced. I think we all just need to slow down and take our time. Life passes us by, lets slow down and smell the roses.
