The natural way..

Today was my first trip to a cloth diaper store. They had a lot of natural parenting and just natural things.. It was neat, They had soaps, all natural toys, babywear things like moby wraps. It was pretty interesting to me. I dont really follow the natural parenting way, as far as disciplining or parenting in general. We do cloth diaper and I did breastfeed but thats about it. Something did catch my eye that I may have to go back for, and that is Mama Cloth, it interested me. It makes sense all in all.. if cloth is good enough for her, what about me? I dont think I could go all out on cloth and get Family Cloth, I could never touch something my husband, or any other guest wiped their butt with. But I could swing for reusuable cleaning towels and napkins, but reusable toilet unpaper and tissues grosses me out.. I guess thats where I draw the line. But the toys intrigued me too.. all natural wooden, it was all pretty nice in my opinion. We did get new fluff! We got six Chinesse Blue Edge Prefolds.  6 BumGenious 4.0 One Size, One FuzziBunz Perfect Size, medium size diaper, and a pair of babylegs...
This is what a prefold looks like before it is prepped...
 BabyLegs
BumGenious 4.0 OS in Blossom... The othe colors are Zinnia(darker pink),Bubble(light purple), Butternut(light yellow),Clementine(yellowish orange), grasshopper(light green)
FuzziBunz Perfect Size, Size medium in Grape

Why I love the fluff

Most people these days choose disposable diapers over cloth, they either dont know that cloth is still an option. Or they are too grossed out by it. The gross factor that people think about I just dont understand, some people are confused on what to do with the poop, well if you exclusively breastfeed all of it can be washed, because its water souluble. And if the baby eats adult food, formula, or baby food, then you simple get a diaper sprayer. You can even make them. Even with disposable diapers, you are still supposed shake off the excess in the toilet. You also use way less detergent, which all in all is a good thing. I am in love with cloth diapering, no chemicals, economical, cost efficent, and all the cute prints. Cloth diapering is making a come back. With todays economy, many moms are choosing cloth diapers to save money, the world today is so expensive, so why not cut cost as best you can. We love our fluff, and we would never go back to disposable diapers. If your child poops on their clothes do you throw the clothing away? No you just wash, so why not due the same with diapers, if you start using cloth when they are newborns you could save so much money. From Birth to Potty training in disposable diapers could cost up $5000. In cloth you could spend as little as $1500 a lot of cloth diapering momma have spent even less than that. I see the advantages of disposable, but cloth has even more. We love our fluff, lets make the world a greenier place and put fluff on all our baby's bottoms.

Hotel Living..

Its difficult being in between homes, so I find the comfort of an extended stay hotel pretty nice. Its got a nice little kitchen. But since we are not fully moved out of our old house, I have no dishes, so its gotten a bit complicated trying to cook dinner, We have paper plates and bowls, plastic eating utensils, but I have no spatuals, I have 2 pans and a pot. Its quite difficult, but I manage, but what is really difficult for me is washing our cloth diapers. I love cloth diapering, but I am about to wash cloth diapers by hand in the tub, we will see how this goes. Hopefully well, I forgot to get quarters while the desk was open, and $1.50 is a bit much to wash diaper if you ask me, for that price I could by sposies and be done with it, not counting drying the diapers, I love not buying sposies, but it is quite inconvient washing stuff by hand, hopefully we can find a good place soon.

Moving Forward...

Moving to a new home soon, not sure exactally where at, but hopfully soon. I have so many friends pregnant, and jealous of everyone on of them, I would love another baby. I think it would be amazing to have another child while Adie is still little so they can be close. But I have a few things in mind, before I do. So to moving forward, I would love to get my drivers liscense, so I am not so dependent on others. I would be thrilled for that. I could go places that I needed to or wanted too with out asking someone for a ride. I think as husband and wife, me and Matt need to own our own home. What a sense of accomplishment that would be. I would also love to atleast get my GED, so I could get a part time job if need be. There are little things, here and there..  like potty training Adie, go on a family vacation, stuff like that. But also paying off everything I owe. And getting paying off a new Toyota Seinna, my dream vehicle. But I decided to make myself a 5 year plan. I guess its a good thing I dont want to be in the exact same place in my life I am now, in 5 years.

 So by, September 30th 2016
I would like to achieve my goals of..
learning to drive
paying off everything I owe.
Owning a new Toyota Seinna.
Owning my own home.

Three Years

Yesterday was three years of being married to my wonderful husband. I can't believe we've married for three years already. Time is really flying by. Soon Adie will be two. It feels like yesterday we just met. I just want time to slow down, so I can enjoy the times I share with my young family now. Because before I know it, Adie will be all grown up and me and Matt will be old.
